Piotr Stępniak - Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Member of the Audit Committee

Mr. Piotr Stępniak holds a university degree. In 1992, he graduated from the University of Guelph in Canada with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Additionally, in 1995, he completed the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at ESC Rouen in France and obtained a Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree from Purdue University in the United States.

Mr. Piotr Stępniak has gained extensive knowledge and experience in management through successive professional roles: from 1985 to 1992 at Air Canada in Toronto, Canada; from 1992 to 1997 at PepsiCola International; in 1998 at Bank Handlowy S.A. in Warsaw; from 1999 to 2000 as Director of Development at ARAMARK in Toronto, Canada; from 2000 to 2001 as Marketing Director, and subsequently from 2001 to 2005 as Vice President of the Management Board at Lukas S.A. and Lukas Bank S.A.; and from 2005 to 2008 as President of the Management Board of Getin Holding S.A.

Mr. Piotr Stępniak has many years of experience serving on the supervisory boards of numerous listed companies, including TU Europa S.A., EFL Leasing S.A., ATM Grupa S.A., Prime Car Management S.A., Magellan S.A., Asseco Business Solutions, ZEPAK S.A., and Skarbiec Asset Management Holding S.A.

Currently, Mr. Stępniak serves on the supervisory boards of the following companies: Kruk S.A., Grupa KĘTY S.A., and VRG S.A. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of BFF Banking Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BFF Polska.

According to the submitted declaration, Mr. Piotr Stępniak meets the independence criteria for supervisory board members as defined in Article 129(3) of the Act of 11 March 2017 on Statutory Auditors, Audit Firms, and Public Oversight, in Annex II to the European Commission Recommendation of 15 February 2005 on the role of non-executive or supervisory directors of listed companies and on the committees of the (supervisory) board, as well as the additional requirements set out in the Code of Best Practice for WSE Listed Companies, annexed to Resolution No. 13/1834/2021 of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Council of 29 March 2021.
